Digital Video Reproduction with DAT Quality Sound

Sharp's LCD Digital Viewcams bring together the sterling quality of digital video production and the easy to use functionality of our popular Viewcam. Digital technology gives you high quality, 500 lines of resolution and more faithful color reproduction without blurring, smudging or noise. Images are more precise and stable. Digital information can be stored for longer periods of time and can be viewed more often without deterioration. In addition, PCM Digital Stereo Recording gives you advanced, DAT quality sound.

Viewcamport

The Viewcamport connects to your television or VCR. Set the Viewcam in the Viewcamport and lock the switch for automatic connection directly to the television for playback or to you VCR for convenient dubbing. The Viewcamport will also supply power to your Viewcam, charge the internal battery and an additional external battery. Available on: VC-H5000V, VC-H550V

Low Reflectivity (1%) LCD View Screen

Sharp's big, colorful low reflectivity (1%) view screen absorbs 99% of all reflective light. The view screen performs well in all lighting conditions, indoors and outside.

Fingerprint-Reduced LCD View Screen

All Viewcam view screens are coated with a special resin that reduces fingerprints. To clean view screen just use a clean, soft cloth.

270° Variable Angle Recording

Hold the Viewcam in a variety of angles to record over people and objects or close to the ground. You can even record yourself by rotating the view screen 180°.

Instant Playback in Color with Sound

With the color LCD view screen and built in speaker, videos can be played back on the spot. You can also watch dubbed videos of your favorite TV programs or pre-recorded 8mm tapes anywhere. You now have a portable entertainment center.

Hi8 Recording for Superior Color Resolution

Hi8 extends the performance of standard 8mm format to near-professional heights. The Hi8 circuit allows the Viewcam to record a video signal with 400 lines of resolution, 40% better than conventional 8 mm. This gives you an amazingly vivid picture with superior color resolution and greater detail.

Digital Image Stabilization (D.I.S.)

The D.I.S. circuit senses movement of the user holding the camera and helps to reduce image shake and jitter, delivering a more stable picture.

Auto LCD Brightness Control

The Auto LCD Brightness Control function automatically changes the backlight brightness level of the LCD screen to match lighting conditions. The result is effortless LCD screen adjustment when moving from indoor to outdoor scenes. This feature is available on the following models: VL-E49U, VL-E46U, VL-E39U, VL-E34U.

High Resolution Color LCD View Screen

The 5" color LCD view screen has a viewing area that is 56% larger than the 4" view screen. It features the camcorder industry's first and only 5" view screen with a viewing area of 10.63 square inches and 224,640 pixels.

The 4" color LCD view screen has a viewing area that is 77% larger than the 3" view screen. It features a viewing area of 7.57 square inches with 112,320 pixels.

The 3" color LCD view screen features a viewing area of 4.27 square inches with 89,856 pixels.
