The SC-M52 is an affordable but high performance 8mm camcorder that offers a host of features and conveniences in a compact, remarkably light (only 1.5 lbs) and user-friendly design. Features include 22x optical zoom/440x digital zoom, color viewfinder, digital effects and excellent low-light capability. For added convenience it also includes a wireless remote control and 2-mode self-timer.

Equipped with variable speed (4.5 to 22 seconds in 4 steps) 22x optical and 440x digital zoom lens. Full range inner focus system provides quick and accurate auto focus from macro to infinity, while manual focusing is also possible.
Built-in wide angle lens allows an exceptionally wide view in tight areas (ideal for indoor shooting), while the Auto Wide Macro mode allows extreme close up recording down to 0.4-inches
AFM Hi-Fi audio recording (mono only) with wide dynamic range
Excellent low-light capability, the SCM-52 can record down to 0.3 lux
Built-in TBC (Time Base Corrector) digitally processes the video signal for a more stable picture. This ensures better playback for viewing or copying.
