DV capture card and software, the DVRaptor links your DV camcorder to a PC, and allows you to capture DV footage via i.LINK, while simultaneously viewing full motion video on your computer and video monitors. Bundled with an incredible array of software.

Raptor Navigator automatically detects clips on your video tape and stores them into a tape catalog. Once in the catalog you can arrange and edit your clips and then batch capture them to your hard disk. Using the Raptor Video program, you batch capture to hard disk only the clips that you want. In addition to selective batch capture the DVRaptor also supports long-form seamless video capture. Capture up to 20 minutes in one file (4GB) or an entire DV tape in one pass (approx. 15 GB). Once you have the clips you want, you just drop them into Adobe Premiere 5.1 (bundled with full version) where you can produce broadcast-quality movies for video, film, multimedia and the Web.

The DVRaptor also provides smooth playback because it uses the hardware CODEC of your DV camera or deck to decode DV data during playback. This gives you the best of both worlds - the cost-effectiveness of a software CODEC product combined with the playback performance of a hardware CODEC product. Rex Navigator: An easy to use tape cataloging software, Navigator scans your tapes (4 different scanning modes) and catalog all your clips automatically or manually for use in Raptor Edit. Rex Navigator comes with a quick response DV camera controller and accurate batch capturing features. You can also add comments to the clips for reference when producing content. Once a Clip List has been completed it may be opened in Rex Edit for capture. Once captured, the clips are then ready for use in your production.

Raptor Edit: Combining ease-of-use and a straightforward user interface, Raptor Edit is the fastest way to edit with your DVRaptor. The software offers real-time "assemble" and "insert" editing and near-real-time transition and title authoring.

SoftXplode -- a high performance, easy to use, software DVE engine, SoftXplode adds high-speed 2D and 3D video effects to your video production. It includes 28 transition groups with 231 preset transitions. The keyframer has a number of presets like bounce, pause half way, slow-down, speed-up and step-wise-bounce, so you can ‘fly’ in or ‘bounce’ video clips during a transition.You can also customize and save your keframed effects into the preset list.
