Studio MP10 puts the power of creating TV-quality video for CD, the Internet or multimedia presentations right in your hands. Studio MP10 offers simple cut and-paste editing that lets you choose the best scenes, place them in any order, then add titles, scene transitions, music, narration, and more. Create interactive CD's with indexed menus, a digital video file, or create a video tape.

Studio MP10 Hardware

The Studio MP10 hardware is a low-cost MPEG1 Codec (compressor/decompressor) that connects to the parallel port of the PC. When used for high quality video capture, MP10 Codec converts the analog audio and video input to digital form and provides real-time MPEG1 video compression, and uLaw audio compression. Real-time MPEG1 compression is provided using the C-Cube VideoRISC processor (CLM4111). On playback with analog output, the Studio MP10 Codec converts the digital data back to analog. A C-Cube CL484 MPEG1 decoder is used to provide high quality MPEG1 video and audio decoding. The CL484 provides a high quality horizontal filtering and interpolation to up sample the MPEG1 video to full resolution, resulting in smoother video output.

Studio Application

Pinnacle Studio application is available exclusively on Studio MP10, Studio DC10plus, and Studio 400. Studio provides a complete environment for creating exciting videos. SmartCapture from Pinnacle Systems

Automatically detects the start and end of each scene while the video is being captured. Studio remembers the exact point in the video where each scene begins and ends, and creates a separate thumbnail in the video album for each scene, making it easy for the user to pick their best shots. MPEG1 Editing is fully supported in Studio MP10. Users can easily edit their MPEG video files just like they were AVI. Studio's MPEG editing engine allows full random access to MPEG compressed data, enabling users to make frame accurate edits to their video, and provides full support for titles, graphics and transitions.

Title Deko≥ is Pinnacle Systems' broadcast quality title creator

Provides over 300 title looks and styles to choose from. Title Deko makes it easy to create neon or metallic titles, add drop shadows, rotate, stretch and scroll titles as well.

SmartSound≥ from Sonic Desktop

Enables the creation of custom sound tracks that are perfectly matched to the duration of the video. SmartSound allows the user to choose from a variety of musical styles, songs, and instruments and generates a custom piece of music that is matched to the video duration.
